Winter warmers

It’s always a melancholy feeling when the last few days of spring/summer sadly disappear into the horizon. Those odd few moments when you pretend it’s somehow going to be warm outside then realise the only person your kidding is yourself. That sort of sums up the very begginings of Autumn for me – disbelief coupled with a chilly ‘reality check’.

Don’t get me wrong, I love the winter. Knee high boots, snug jumpers, furry coats! I’m already revamping my wardrobe and seem to be scouring online, grappling for bits & pieces I got to have.

So here’s my official introduction into Autumn and a few of my favourite pieces so far.

Aldo Deedee

I could say I have been looking for a decent pair knee high boots for well over a year. I wouldn’t make the mistake of buying a suede boot this time round, in the rain these type of boots always start to look washed out and tired. I think these from Aldo are gorgeous – they have also been flying off the shelves like hot cakes so if you want to order these, you need to do so online.

Stevie May ASOS

I have been following this Australian brand for a while now and their clothes are seriously ‘wow’. Buying from their website works out pretty expensive for shipping but ASOS also stock some pieces. I think this white lace top is beautiful. It’s a lovely Spring to Autumn transitional piece and it would look amazing on. knit dress

You can never go wrong with a knitted dress and this one from is simply gorgeous. Coupled with a pair of sexy heels or boots, this is a perfect transitional piece to take you through to Autumn and Winter. The material is stretchy so this jumper is fabulously figure hugging! Find it here.

Jaeger Wool Wrap Coat

I can guarantee you that a camel coat will never go out of style or out of fashion. It’s seems to make an appearance practically every winter and if you get the style right – you’ll have yourself a timeless piece! This one from Jaeger is perfect! Check it out here.

Reiss Tessa Gilet

I think this gilet is gorgeous, it looks and feels amazing on. The colour is a little more unusual than the usual light grey/beige coloured ones available and for that reason I think it can be worn with a lot more different styles. Shop the look here.

Zara Suede Jacket

Another one from Zara that really caught my eye was this oversized sheepskin-style jacket. It’s supposed to ‘look’ oversized but I would personally go for a tighter fit & therefore buy a size down to my usual. Also for 99 it’s s steal for the coming winter months!

Let me know which you liked & hope you enjoyed my wrap up of October pieces!
