Feeling the chill in 2015

As much as I love Summer, there's no denying that it's a fleeting season in England, thank goodness for the chunky knits and earthy tones to seduce any winter wardrobe.  With the flurry of snow over the past week, here's some inspiration to keep it casual and cosy for 2015.

Block Colours

Step aside floral prints of Summer, 'tis the season for block colours to take to the stage. Whether it's a classy royal blue or a bold bright orange, this trend is simple yet stylish and one of the easiest to take from day to night.
Take your inspiration from Dior this season and mix and match colours!

Chunky Knits

What better way to embrace winter than with a chunky knit jumper, a classic for AW every year yet still at the heart of the runway. Match with a leather mini skirt to add some edge and keep it current.

Military Inspiration

Whether it's khaki shades or big boots, this trend is the epitemy of minimal effort meets maximum impact. There's no denying that military is definitely in for AW14, why not take inspiration from Alexander Wang and team a simple dress with chunky boots. Definitely one for making an entrance.

Seasonal Sparkle

AW isn't all about fitting in with the colours of the season, stand out from the crowd and add some sparkle to your wardrobe. Whether you fancy bright, clashing colours or keeping it simple with a block of sparkle, this trend is a great way to fight off the winter blues. House of Holland knows how to keep clashing cool.
