Beth Ditto Announces Fashion Launch at Selfridges

Announced in December 2015 with the unveiling of a limited-edition tee designed by Beth's close friend and collaborator Jean Paul Gaultier, the much-anticipated collection launches with imagery styled by Katie Grand and shot by Ezra Petronio.

The range illustrates the diversity of Beth's fearless fashion journey, from Arkansas punk-rocker altering vintage finds, to fashion icon in her own right. Vibrant op-art prints are realised in silks and rayons, while gold lamé club looks are off-set by vintage-style tea dresses and well-tailored pencil skirts.

The eleven-piece collection will be available in US sizes 10 – 24 (UK sizes 14 – 28), includes form fitting dresses, silk jumpsuits, leggings, tops and a hand-embroided, vintage-sourced denim jacket.

Prints incorporate lipstick kisses, make up palettes and electric eye prints that add a bold fashion vision frequently missing from plus-size lines.

Beth says: “I wanted to make pieces to last years. Beyond trends, beyond chain stores. I wanted to create something all its own, something just for us, made with love and consideration. Made ethically in the USA as a small company with no big corporate input. Uncompromising, unapologetic, and timeless. Go-to pieces designed to last. A movement by us, for us."

Launching globally on 15 February on BethDitto.com and with Selfridges in the UK, the collection celebrates beauty at any size.
