Five Fab AW14 Beauty Trends

1. The winged eyeliner

Liquid eyeliner is a great way of creating a dramatic look without having to worry about the shades and blending of eyeshadow. Featured on the Jean Paul Gaultier catwalk this look is bang on trend for AW14 and thanks to the geniuses over at Benefit and their fabulous They're Real, Push Up Eyeliner you can create the look from the comfort of your own home.

2. The sleek ponytail

Simple and easy, the ponytail has been centre stage on the catwalk of many designers this season. From Balmain to Kenzo, the relaxed look has made quite the impact and it's definitely one I can get on board with. If you can pull it off, a centre parting adds designer style to the look.

3. Nude lips

Let your eyes do the talking this season and keep it simple with a nude lip. The natural look was apparent across the board for AW14 with the likes of Tom Ford and Dolce and Gabbana all styling models with soft, pale lips.

4. 'First time' makeup

Topshop styled models with messy kohl eyeliner, whilst Prada used a red stained lip to give the same impression; that it was the first time these girls had applied makeup. If you're an expert at rocking the grungy-bedhead look then this is definitely for you and yes, I envy you completely!

5. Natural waves

An effortless look that can be great for day and night, natural looking wavy hair was featured in a number of catwalk shows for this season. If you're not blessed with naturally tamed yet wavy hair, try using medium sized tongs to create big curls that could rival any of the Meadham Kirchhoff models.
