Hair Heaven

"I'm as free as my hair."

The wise words of Lady Gaga that ring true for women throughout the world. Whether it's a dramatic new colour or something as simple as adding a braid, a new hair style can make you feel like you can take on the world. I've created a run down of my favourite catwalk trends that you can create from home.

1. Pastel Shades
If you needed evidence that pastel hair colours are making a comeback, look no further than the Louis Vuitton Resort 2015 show in Monaco. If you fancy trying this look at home grab yourself a bottle of Crazy Colour semi-permanent hair colour, whether it's 'marshmallow' or 'candy floss' for less than 5 you can create the perfect pastel shade. With the bonus of being semi-permanent you can always be back to your natural colour in no time!

2. The Middle Parting

From the likes of Beyonce to Caroline Flack, the centre parting has been centre stage for the last few seasons and is still holding strong. Featured throughout Prabal Gurung's ICB show it's apparent that this trend isn't backing down anytime soon.

3. Braided beauty.

The sophisticated styles in the Marc by Marc Jacobs range were countered by the youthful braids worn by the models, mirroring school girl styles to give the look a rebellious edge. Perfect for the summer, if this style is done right you can create the new 'girl next door' look with very little effort.

4. Vintage Bun

Sophisticated yet simple, this sleek bun is a great way to add a touch of class to any outfit without stretching your hair skills to the limit. Featured throughout Alon Livne's Autumn/Winter 2014 collection, this style is an oldy but a goody, creating a feminine and delicate style worthy of the red carpet.
