HOLIONE Manchester: The Review

Multi coloured explosions of colour, amazing music and an all round seriously good time – the HOLIONE Color Festival last weekend in Manchester exceeded all expectations!

Thousands of people turned out at Heaton Park for the second year in a row, making HOLI ONE, one of the UKs most unique music festivals this summer.  The pitter patter of rain didn't seem to dampen any ones mood and the event was packed with fun-loving people from all over Greater Manchester.

After much anticipation, thousands of music lovers soaked up a packed day of colour, excitement and entertainment from a host of local bands and Stephan Dau, founder of HOLI ONE Colour Festivals, was amazed at the turnout.

He said: We were overwhelmed with the number of people that attended the event this year. This is the second time we have bought HOLI ONE to Manchester and the atmosphere was electric to say the least!

With an initially stormy start to the day, by the afternoon the clouds parted and the sun casted its warm rays on the crowd of up to 5000 revellers. Against a backdrop of dance and DJ music, people gather at HOLI ONE to throw powders into the air to create an explosion of colour and excitement aimed at celebrating togetherness and the colour of everyday life.

Last year, HOLI ONE Colour festivals were attended by 100,000 people worldwide and took place across cities and countries that included London, South Africa and Berlin.

This summer, the HOLI ONE UK tour will take place in Newcastle, Sheffield, Liverpool, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Plymouth, London, Manchester, Leeds, Nottingham, Dublin, Belfast and Bristol/Bath.
