Summer is that time amongst the sale madness we should also have a good de-clutter. Seriously investing in some key items will make layering a breeze and the right fit will put that extra spring in your step.

But where to start? When the thought alone is overwhelming there is really onle one phrase that works generously - Back to basics. It seems many a great style icon has also started on this premise also.

Building around key basics which you then build your own style around. So you can imagine my excitement when I found 'Isabi' – a fashion brand whose very concepts are built on the art of intelligent dressing.

Founded by Jane Robson and Christina Levy who have worked within the global fashion industry for years. Their experience of designing, sourcing and buying for many well-known retailers placed them ahead of the game when recognising this much needed gap in the market.

We asked Christina what pieces from the Isabi collection she loved and why.

'The key to the perfect wardrobe is always the basics (what we call our Essentials) and our fantastic bestselling Ultimate Jean which works wonders for your wardrobe and your body.  Our best sellers are the Ultimate Jean, Ponteroma Dress, Pencil Skirt, Slim Leg Trouser and the Wide Leg Trouser. If you have these to form the basis of your wardrobe, everything else layers over.'

The Isabi site like itís concept is clutter free and a joy to browse, looking through the Isabi Look Book I chose three items that are absolute essentials when it comes down to the flatter and cut factor, these gorgeous pieces score well with customers and well worth a look.

The idea of combining flattering fits and pieces which can be easily layered and mixed, giving women the tools to build a stylish, versatile and affordable wardrobes is now completely effortless. To view more on the fabulous Isabi range please visit their site
