Manchester Fashion Week Highlights

The three day fashion extravaganza was everything I had hoped for. Amazing Manchester based brands took part and the shows were thoroughly enjoyed by the audiences who turned out to support Manchester Fashion Week in 2014.

Day 1 really went the full hog in exposing grass roots level talent – I’m totally in love with Lunar Rising and Lucy Cowan – I will be keeping an eye out for these two incredibly gifted designers in the near future. I also thought designs from Emily Shaw were really extravagant and fun to see on the catwalk.

Day 2 had an electric atmosphere. It was a sold out event and I think for the first time after a ‘very’ long time – Manchester fashion folk and the team at Manchester Fashion Week could really hold their heads high and be proud of what they had achieved.

As well as fab performances from Jsky, it was great to all see fashion bloggers in Manchester relishing what this fashion packed Easter weekend had to offer. There was a dynamic and talented range of designers featuring day 3 which included some of my favourite designers Zeenoe Dee and Get Clobbered.  I have always been amazed at how Adnan Bayyat puts on a fabulous show with his ultra-bold, creative pieces!

I had a brilliant time and can’t wait to see what’s in store for 2015. I wore throughout the event a mixture of Zara, FSLand H&M – I also accessorised and wore my white rose gold Curbbz paired up with my gold Michael Kors watch!
